Venue: Riverside Pilates & Wellness, Riverside Road, Gorleston, NR31 6PX.
This session is specifically designed to guide you through a variety of types and techniques of meditation that can be effective in supporting you through menopause, peri-menopause and post menopause.
You’ll learn some key science behind how meditation can counteract and bring balance to the symptoms you’re experiencing. There will be a variety of tools for integrating meditation and mindfulness into your life, to help navigate menopause. The core of meditation for menopause is cultivating a feeling of safety in the body and mind.
The cost of this 1.5 hour session includes:
- Light refreshments during a short break midway through the class.
- Email to follow with 2 guided meditation audio files.
- Chairs, mats, blocks are all provided at the venue.
Meditation can:
Significantly reduce ‘stress’ hormones, reduce anxiety & negative ‘mind chatter’
Increase ‘happy’ hormones, produce calmer brainwaves & reduce inflammation
Improve sleep, memory, focus & concentration, & increase melatonin levels
Aid digestion, mood regulation, increase pain tolerance & release tension

2 Summer Sessions: 27th July + 24th August - both 10am - 11:30am
These 1.5 hour sessions are suitable for complete beginners as well as those who have already been to my classes or experienced mindfulness practices elsewhere. You will be guided through 3-4 meditations each class, including a variety of types and techniques. You will also learn some of the science behind meditation and mindfulness and the benefits it can bring to our health and wellbeing.
We have a break half way through the class for light refreshments including hot drinks which is included in the price.
Classes are small with a maximum of 12.
This class focuses on chair based seated meditations but if you’d like to bring your own mat to have the option to lay down for the meditations please do so.
You’ll receive a follow up email after each class with tips and tools to use.
