Breath meditations may be the most common type of meditation used, but many people struggle to maintain focus on the beath or find this uncomfortable or challenging. Adding a visualisation aspect, like in this guided meditation, can provide a vastly different experience, with greater flow, and a more open and curious approach. If you’ve tried breath meditations in the past and found it difficult to retain focus on solely the breath, I recommend trying this meditation.

You can really make this meditation your own and experiment with different colours each time you use it. It can have an uplifting effect, as well as being energising and creating a sense of space and freedom. As always, go with what feels good for you and let everything else fade into the background.

Breathe in deeply to bring your mind home to your body.
