Try me free...Mantra Meditation: Patience

Sale Price: £0.00 Original Price: £1.99

I love sharing meditation…so I’m giving you this meditation as a free gift so that you can try it in the comfort of your own home…or wherever you decide to play it!

This is the first meditation script I wrote - it was part of the qualification coursework and I led this meditation during one of the training days with my fellow meditation teachers. It received very positive feedback then and I’ve since used it many times. I’ve often been told it’s the one people find the easiest to find a sense of flow in, even if it’s the first time they’ve ever tried meditation.

A mantra provides a strong focus for our mind; often making it feel organic and natural to let go of all else…revealing a quiet, content mind.

In this practice you’ll be guided through a mantra meditation. This means we’ll repeat a word silently inside our minds. Meditation using a mantra is an ancient and well documented type of practice, popular across all schools of meditation. The word or sound used in a mantra meditation can be anything, and although it can have significant meaning, such as when used within religious practice, the purpose is to focus on the repetition of the word, not on the meaning of the word. The mantra can become akin to a vibration travelling around our body and mind, calming and reassuring each part of us to the core. Mantra can be an effective way to create a sense of space in a busy mind as we’re giving the mind something to focus on.

The secret to change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.
